As Chief Operating Officer of the California Center for Economic Initiatives (CCFEI), she leads with precision and heart—overseeing systems design, fiscal planning, and program architecture that uplift nonprofits, small businesses, and legacy stewards across California and nationally.
A proud mother of student athletes, Shandrea brings a nurturing yet disciplined approach to youth development, understanding the balance of structure, support, and opportunity required to help young people thrive. Her founding of Urban Not Average (UNA) reflects this ethos: a vibrant community initiative that draws families, friends, and neighbors into safe, joyful, and purpose-driven spaces. Even during the profound challenges of 2020, UNA remained active—pivoting to design responsive programs that honored public health protocols while keeping youth socially connected and intellectually engaged.
