Our Story: Many artists have left the Bay Area and many more are considering leaving yet, without its artists, San Francisco is at risk of becoming the largest small town on the planet. It is the 24th hour but it’s not too late. We are The XXIVth Hour, a fiscally-sponsored project of California Center for Economic Initiatives (CCFEI), and it is our mission to stop this migration by creating opportunities for better exposure and fair pay. With over a decade of experience working with local artists and fellow Arts organizations, it is our privilege to present Salle des Artistes in order to reverse this tragic trend and showcase the best talent from around the Bay Area. Through incredibly generous donations from anonymous donors, we have two spectacular historic churches to host our Salle des Artistes series of art and music salons.
The XXIVth Hour is an emerging nonprofit project born of the determination to not only save the Arts, but the artists of San Francisco. Our Salle des Artistes series of events will provide incomes for our musicians, projection mapping/installation artists, painters, photographers, filmmakers, young chefs, and other promising up-and-coming artists. Fair pay for artists is essential and will in turn provide the means to encourage current artists and mentor new ones. In collaboration with these dynamic local artists, we will also be able to host art classes for underprivileged youth who would otherwise have limited access to such creative outlets and be denied one of the most important aspects of life – one that has been proven to enhance other learning: The Arts.
The creative energy is leaving the city and the Arts are hanging by a thread. The XXIVth Hour is most grateful for your help as our Salle des Artistes will not only provide increased access to the arts and exposure for the artists, each nonprofit salon event will also provide further fundraising opportunities. Our spaces, musicians, and artists are available for private parties as well yet the artist salons will be open to all art lovers from the Bay Area and beyond. Together, we can keep the Arts alive in San Francisco. All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged across multiple social media platforms.
In order to be effective in saving the Arts and the Art Culture within San Francisco we are seeking both monetary and in-kind donations to support our programs missions. Any donation, small or large, will help us reach the goals set forth to support the mission of The 24TH Hour. Please make your donations today!
If so we have some exciting sponsorship oppotunities waiting for you! Please call or email us to request a copy of our sponsorship opportunities!
