Community Partnerships and Fiscal Sponsorship
To enable sustainable development within the community, California Center for Nonprofit Initiatives (CCFEI) partners with local leaders who are in the start-up phase of creating movements within their own communities. We partner with these organizations to provide strategic planning resources, fiscal sponsorship for active fundraising and legal planning to such organizations.
We provide the structure and a full range of administrative services that allow nonprofit projects large and small to get up and running quickly, keeping leaders focused on mission. Our staff also offers invaluable guidance, training, and connections that help project leaders achieve greater impact.
Structure
Sponsored projects operate under our status as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. They are able to receive foundation grants and other charitable donations.
Finance and Administration
Projects of all sizes and at all levels of development benefit from our services at a fraction of the cost. We offer:
- Comprehensive finance and accounting services
- Tax & audit to ensure projects are in full compliance with granting agencies, local, state, and federal regulations
Guidance
Each project leader works one-on-one with a CCFEI Advisory Board Member or lead staff. Regular counsel helps strengthen project leaders and addresses organizational development issues ranging from fundraising and resource development to strategic planning.
